Creation of an optical artwork for kite.

Drawing on kite is drawing on a moving object. Depending on its position in the sky, it reveals a different shape and gives a different perception of the mobile.

With Victor Guerithault (KiteLab), we created a kite with a motif inspired by anamorphosis. The shape of the tetrahedral kite combines with the decomposed pattern on each veil to highlight this effect.

We ran various tests of materials and printing techniques to fix the color on the canvas, and set up a kite personalization process using a plotter.
