Burberry


Machine drawing videos highlighting the construction of Burberry's iconic pattern.

Burberry asked me to create three drawings inspired by their check to highlight their new collection, which revisits the traditional check.

To mark the innovation of the brand while preserving its heritage, I propose different ways of constructing the pattern, combining mechanical and traditional designs.

More than a still image, these artworks are constructed in a choreography between hand and machine, revealing the complexity of each pattern.
